It's Oscars Season Once Again

Yahoo! The nominations for the 2005 Oscars are out, and I'm so thankful that most of the nominated films are either "now showing" or "coming soon" here in Singapore. My flatmate and I (and maybe other friends) have decided to intersperse watching these movies in our busy school schedules. I'll make it a personal goal to watch all the nominated films before the Oscars night on February 27. We are watching The Aviator tonight!

These are the films that we (especially I) plan to see all throughout the Oscars season:

1. The Aviator (now showing)
2. Hotel Rwanda (now showing)
3. Finding Neverland (now showing)
4. Ray (coming soon)
5. Million Dollar Baby (coming soon)

6. Kinsey (now showing)
7. A Very Long Engagement (now showing)
8. Being Julia (now showing)
9. Bad Education (now showing)
10. The Sea Inside (now showing)

And some films that I am compelled to watch (grr...wala kasing pirated DVD's rito)
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. The Passion of the Christ (hehe...)

I just posted the list above as a reminder to myself that I'm not all geek-hood here. Hu-huh. A list of the books that I am reading is next!

Waaah! Bad Education IS now showing there? I've looong been on a lookout for pirated dvds of this Aldomovar film, and his other latest, The Motorcycle Diaries, since I don't think they will ever have regular runs in cinemas here. =(
